BCW DS-6010: Heavy Duty Air Hydraulic Diesel Engine Repair or Rebuild Stand (Pedestal)
The BCW DS-6010 was designed as a heavy duty repair and rebuild stand for rebuilding large diesel engines in a work station format. The stand is equipped with an air over hydraulics system rated at 15 tons of force for rotating the engine 90 degrees in the vertical plane. Flanged ball bearings provide the low friction surface for rotating the engine in the vertical plane. Once the engine is in the vertical position high precision taper bearings allow the engine to be easily rotated when the detent pin is deactivated.
