Scissor Lifts
BCW’s Model PPSL-6510 High Lift Scissor Lift
BCW’s PPSL-6510 HD High Lift Scissor lift is designed for safe overhead applications when removing and replacing the power pack units on inter-city buses. The unit is equipped with dual 10 ton Enerpac rams and dual rack and on the air-hydraulic pump for precisely controlling the rate of descent of the load.
These backup components assure fail-safe conditions and maximize safety to the maintenance personnel when working under the load.
All the steel is American made and welding and fabrication is done by certified welders. The unit is 56” wide x 72” long at the base with rock solid stability when in service and when being transported from one area to another.
The lowered height of the unit is 30” and raised height is 72” measured to the top of the scissor lift unit. The PPSL-6510 lift is a two part system; the scissor lift plus the superstructure unit (Patent Pending) with the necessary hardware used for attaching to the engine or power pack. The superstructure height differs from power pack to power pack.
The required air pressure required to operate the lift is 100-125 PSIG. Ease of mobility and maneuverability is provided by a low center of gravity in the lowered position and four HD poly-urethane coated swivel caster plus a tee handle.
The unit is also equipped with fork lift openings for rapidly moving the scissor lift and load to other areas of the shop.
To increase productivity, the PPSL-6510 can be purchased with optional Superstructure.
The original Superstructure can be lifted off the top of the scissor lift with the power pack (engine/tranny or both) to another area freeing up the scissor lift to use the optional Superstructure.
The unit is rated at 5,000 lb. capacity.
